KLCC Announcements

KLCC events, notes to listeners, and other station happenings.

After 25 years on the air, volunteer host Frank Gosar is leaving Saturday Cafe and KLCC.

Enjoy Frank's last show on Saturday March 28, 3-5 pm

KLCC thanks Frank for his commitment to KLCC, Saturday Cafe, and the Folk Music community for all these years.  We wish him (and his teddy bears) the best of luck with future endeavors.

Spring Radiothon begins April 6.  That means we need help answering pledge calls from our listeners!  Many volunteers are needed to keep our phones staffed throughout Radiothon.

We are seeking phone volunteers who are "computer comfortable" to enter pledge information directly to our simple online pledge form.  You'll be answering calls and filling out the form for KLCC contributors.

You make our programming possible!  The shows you trust and enjoy are on the air because of your donation.  Support the shows you listen to and  rely on.  Join, renew or make an additional gift to KLCC today.

11/19/14 - KLCC has lost one of our family today. Natural World producer John Cooney has died.

His family says, "John left us this morning with a taste of wine and a smile on his lips."

John had lung cancer. He was at home surrounded by family. A memorial service is being planned.
