Kathie Wiper

KLCC Public Radio Foundation

Kathie Wiper serves as Vice-President of the KLCC Public Radio Foundation.

Kathie is a retired teacher from Sheldon High School where she taught Public Speaking and Radio and Television Production.   She was one of the  teachers who established Sheldon KRVM.  This was a program that provided high school students an opportunity to be on the air in regular day time programming, interning  and in sports play by play.  She, along with her late husband, Tom Wiper, was on the capital campaign committee that raised funds to build the current KLCC studios.  She is active in the community where she participates in several non-profit organizations.
