An Amber Alert for a missing 4-year-old child who was taken by his mother has been canceled, according to the Eugene police. The Alert was in response to a custody dispute. According to police, the mother, Dana Morgan, has no custodial rights. Police say a man named James Gresham, 46, assaulted the boy’s father as the boy was being taken. No other information is available at this time.

An Amber Alert has been issued this morning in the Southern Willamette valley. 4-year-old Lucien Triplett was last seen wearing a light blue polo shirt with short sleeves, blue and white striped shorts, white socks, and tan and white tennis shoes. Has birthmark on left temple.

Lucien was taken by his mother from his father. The child's mother does not have custodial rights to the child.
