Annual Gifts to the City
The City Club of Eugene’s annual program features local luminaries giving the city their gifts, ranging from a song to a lump of coal.
Confirmed gift givers so far are Mayor Kitty Piercy, University of Oregon vice president Yvette Alex-Assensoh, restaurateur Ib Hamid, sociology professor Greg McLauchlan, communicator Marilyn Milne, U of O student Edith Gomez, businessman George Rode, homeless action activist Alley Valkyrie, and former City Club president Rick Dancer, with others sure to follow.
