Ducks Out of NCAA Tournament
The University of Oregon Men's Basketball team has won an NCAA Tournament game in consecutive seasons for the first time in program history. But, the University of Wisconsin Badgers ended the Ducks' season Saturday 85 to 77 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Ducks had a great first half despite Wisconsin's five offensive rebounds. Oregon went into the locker room with a 12-point lead and a lot of momentum.
The next half was all Badgers opening with a 25 to 9 run. The Ducks' Joseph Young made big shots all night and scored 29 points. But he missed a rushed 3 from the wing, as the Badgers sealed it at the foul line to win the game.
The Oregon State Women's team is making their first appearance since 1996 in the NCAA Tournament. OSU goes into tonight's game shooting 44 percent from the field this season while holding opponents to 34.9 percent. The Beavers play at 5 PM tonight in Seattle against Middle Tennessee.
