Swan Sovereign is a Portland trio that includes Stephanie Schneiderman, Lara Michell and Christine McKinley, familiar through their previous band Dirty Martini. Christine McKinley is also a mechanical engineer and the author of the new book Physics for Rock Stars: Making the Laws of the Universe Work for You. They stopped by the KLCC studios for songs and conversation, before performing at Cozmic on Friday, September 12th. McKinley also presents a multi-media book event at the Downtown Eugene Public Library on Saturday, September 13th.
