Thousands of people flocked to the Lane Events Center in Eugene Friday to see Presidential Candidate Donald Trump. Most were staunch supporters; others came out of curiosity.
Karen Clark says she’s not a Republican or a Democrat, she’s an independent voter impressed with Donald Trump. That’s why she came to support him at the Eugene rally.
Clark: “I really have a lot of respect for Mr. Trump since watching his show and I saw how much common sense he had and how fair he was with people.”
Clark says she likes that Trump isn’t a career politician.
Clark: “He actually understands the issues better than most politicians. He’s not bought out, he’s not paid, he’s paying for his own campaign.”
Clark says her experience at the Trump rally was electrifying. There were several people in the crowd who said they were not Trump supporters. They said they just wanted to see him for themselves.
Trump urged the crowd to vote for him in the May 17th primary and in the November general election.
