Eugene Ballet Company

Eugene Ballet Company concludes its season with the world premiere of Tommy the Ballet, at the Hult Center in Eugene on Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th. It merges the Who’s classic rock opera with the original choreography of Toni Pimble, dancing pinball machines, and a live band That entire band visited the KLCC studios, live, along with Eugene Ballet Company’s artistic director and choreographer Toni Pimble, for songs and celebration.

The Eugene Ballet Company is collaborating with the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies for Zoot Suit Riot at the Hult Center in Eugene on Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th. The performances will also include a tribute piece called “Silk and Steel,” by Toni Pimble, the Eugene Ballet Company’s Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer. She and Steve Perry, vocalist and guitarist of the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, talk with Eric Alan about the unusual collaboration.
