Tracktown

The film Tracktown, made by University of Oregon alum and Olympic runner Alexi Pappas and her partner Jeremy Teicher, is showing now in Eugene. It features familiar Eugene haunts, including Hayward Field, Saturday Market, and running trails around town.

Eugene filmmakers Jeremy Teicher and Alexi Pappas speak with Eric Alan about their two feature films, and the human connection between them. Tall as the Baobab Tree explores the lives of the first girls to be educated in a Senegalese village, while Tracktown tells a story about running, set in Eugene. (Alexi Pappas is a two-time NCAA All-American runner, as well as a filmmaker.)  Tall as the Baobab Tree screens on Thursday, April 30th, as part of the Cinema Pacific Film Festival in Eugene.
